Vigneto del Balluccio is the Cru of Castelplanio, a single vineyard that embodies the highest identity expression of Tenuta dell’Ugolino.
A parcel selected for age, vocation and soil composition, characterized by clay-rich soils abundant in organic matter, capable of producing a deep, structured Verdicchio with remarkable territorial precision. Here the wine finds its clearest and most authoritative voice.
In the glass it is full, taut and highly distinctive: savory and vertical, marked by a dense mineral texture and a structure suited for aging. Notes of white flowers and the typical almond nuance of Verdicchio dei Castelli di Jesi complete the aromatic profile.
It pairs well with structured first courses, flavorful fish dishes and white meats. Perfect with traditional Marchigian coniglio in porchetta.

WINE MAKING AND REFINEMENT
Off-the-skins vinification, must cleaning, fermentation at a controlled temperature below 17°C, matured in stainless steel vats for at least 7 months and refined in bottle for at least 12 months.
